Jess Reid

Team lead Wollongong
Neuro Physiotherapist
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.

Jess is Team Lead for our North Wollongong clinic. A passionate Neurological Physio, Jess has a range of experience working with clients across the lifespan, with varying conditions, diagnoses and impairments. After graduating from University of Newcastle, she went straight into Neurological Physiotherapy and hasn’t looked back.

She has completed several courses specialising in Neurological Physiotherapy, Stroke, SCI, FND, MS, EDS & Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder, Zones of regulation, sensory impairments and Vestibular Physiotherapy. She is also a Winter Sports Classifier for Para-athletes and regularly attends conferences and events for Paralympics Australia.

Jess is passionate about empowering people to dream and achieve more for themselves. She believes, as a Neuro Physio, she’s only a part of your team. Her aim is to work alongside, learn from and teach you how to fish.. so to speak. She believes they are here to equip and empower you to achieve your goals, or help you find a new side to life after diagnosis or injury.

Why you chose your field:

She has always loved meeting people, hearing their stories and watching them grow. As a Neuro Physio, she’s in a privileged position to foster that and be a part of an incredible community, here in our North Gong clinic. She loves learning about her clients and their families, seeing their resilience and perseverance over what is usually the hardest times of their lives. She loves being creative and working with individuals, the opportunity to think outside the box and see growth is what gives her her buzz.

She loves the freedom she has as a Neuro Physio – because every client is different. From watching someone relearn to stand and then walk, working to help someone relearn to adaptive mountain bike or surf to providing the opportunity for standing hugs… all of it brings her so much joy. It’s incredibly hard work, but it is so rewarding and she can’t think of anything she’d rather be doing.

Charmaine is the General Manager of RoboFit. She is a Certified Practising Accountant with CPA Australia and holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting). She has been with RoboFit since the beginning helping build a sustainable business that holds the client experience and their wins at the centre of everything that we do. She started her career in Management Accounting, Budgeting and Forecasting within Government organisations, before transitioning to Corporate Consolidation and Cost Control for large scale projects in the Energy and Resources sector. Moving to a start up witnessing the change and growth at RoboFit has been the biggest and most rewarding challenge of my career.

My journey into accounting started in Accounts Receivable, when a colleague announced she was heading to university to study Accounting. It sounded like a good idea, so I joined her, studying part-time while working full-time with the support of my employer. I’ve always been drawn to numbers, problem-solving, and uncovering the story behind the data, and I’ll happily admit to having a nerdy obsession with well organised spreadsheets.
