Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) Therapy
Individuals living with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) (also commonly known as conversion disorder) will generally present with a range of symptoms and experienced a lengthy period of time without a diagnosis or support services.
Many people with functional symptoms have faced a long journey to feel heard, and need the support of a comprehensive multi-disciplinary treatment program to manage symptoms.
The low awareness of FND in Australia has meant that support services and awareness of allied health professionals is still emerging. But the need for services for clients can’t wait. This is why a targeted rehabilitation approach, like we do here, is so important.

At RoboFit, our therapists use evidence-based approaches tailored to FND, focusing on retraining normal movement patterns, improving motor control, and addressing movement habits. Our goal is to help you regain confidence in your movement, improve your function, and support your return to meaningful daily activities.
In your initial consultation we will spend some time understanding the history of your diagnosis, completing a physical assessment, discussing how your symptoms affect your daily life and make a plan together on how to manage any concerns you have, as well as working towards the goals you have set with our help.
