RoboFit Visits Japan – The Home of HAL
Late last year, Ellen Hall our Exercise Physiologist from our Brisbane clinic, traveled to Tsukuba, Japan with our co-founders to complete additional training for the Cyberdyne devices we use at RoboFit. Ellen was joined by clinicians from Malaysia and Thailand, and over five days, attended seminars and hands-on sessions presented from the Grand Master Trainer, as well as shared case studies.
Highlights From the trip
Ellen reflected on her highlights from her trip including:
- Learned helpful tips and tricks to bring back to the RoboFit team to further upskill our use of the devices.
- Visited the clinic where Dan completed his HAL training way back 2013, the place where this all began
- The founder and creator of Cyberdyne even spoke to us briefly – I had a fangirl moment
- Explored the local culture on the last day including temples and a zoo
- Spent everyday trying different iced coffees; the success rate was low
